OUR STORY

Brother and sister duo Zac and Jess have always been passionate about interiors, styling and photography and this became the crux of Not Another Nursery. This online collection of photography consists of beautiful bright prints suitable for nurseries/children's rooms yet with the stylistic integrity to suit other rooms for years to come.   

 

“What is so important is the longevity of an item. When you have a baby you are bombarded with so many items that by the time the child is 1,2,3,4 – they have already outgrown the items in their nursery.  That cute little fairy hugging the moon no longer seems relevant to the primary school child or tween you see before you.” 

 

The idea sparked when interior designer, stylist and full time mum, Jessica started decorating her daughter, London’s room. She couldn’t find any prints she liked. The cot, the toys, the accessories were found comfortably, however when it came to the artwork, all the prints lacked the colour and interest she was looking for. She found that nothing really grabbed her.

 

It was then that she approached her brother Zac, a talented photographer, to work together to create a few unique prints for her daughter's room. The finished outcome? A curated selection of bright, bold prints, exactly what Jessica had been searching for. And they both knew from here on that this was a business opportunity they had to jump on. 

 

Over the months Zac and Jess have spent extensive time together, working with different objects, like Jelly, flowers and crystals (to name a few!) to bring Not Another Nursery designs to life. These prints are not only a statement piece in the household, they are an investment piece that can be used in any room throughout your home, and something memorable you can hold onto for a lifetime.
